Wow! Thank you! I really needed that message. There is so much more I need to DO to be humble. This was very, very helpful in giving me an action plan.

This was a very helpful sermon! I'd love you to clarify this verse: "Do not withhold correction from a child, For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die." I notice it's the same Hebrew word for "rod" as in Psalm 23. Clearly it's not talking about abusive "beating", since a child *could* die from abuse. But I would love to understand better how it fits.

I appreciate how many scriptures you have drawn on in their correct context to put together the whole picture of how God expects us to use our words. Always speaking the truth in humility and love - now that's a lifetime challenge!

Thank you for pointing out the true cause of society's ills! As the next generation along, I often hear us and our younger peers and children criticised sharply... Much of it is truly deserved, but we ALL have our part in the disaster that is our world for every second that we participate in rejecting God's supreme authority over our lives. God has been so generous in His patience and giving us the tools for fullfilling lives through His word, I look forward to the time when humanity will understand the gift and the solutions that His truth offers!

Thanks for this series of studies. I just listened to this with my girls after reading the book of Amos to them over a few days. It's helpful to understand it in more depth.

Wow! I really needed this course correction. I thought I was committed, but when I listened to this I realised there are big areas where my commitment is seriously lacking. Thank you!

THANK you for telling the truth about what the Bible says and not tiptoeing around it. As a mother of five daughters, I'm deeply troubled at what seems to be a growing acceptance of marriage outside the faith (including marriage within "the church" where one person hasn't really been committed to the faith)... Over and over, I'm seeing devastating consequences when God's instructions are ignored.
