Great article, Joy! We too went for the Bible itself to read to our children. It's written so they can understand it---so let's not dumb it down even more!

This is a message that should be required listening for every member of Gods family. This needs to be shared as a reminder of the seriousness of maintaining the Hoky righteous calling as have. To NOT allow it to be a different fire or flame in us. To stand high and shout the holiness of GOD not caring what the world will do to shut us up. Thank you for saying blck and white what needs to be said. We cannot pander to or tolerate ANY other fire but the holy one of God.

Thank you so much for the reminder that our facts and beliefs should not come from the world’s authorities. That all things have to be weighed against the word of God. To pay attention. And yes I AM terrified of the current suppressing and censorship, BECAUSE I have read and listened and researched the previous century—especially pre-WW2 and know what comes next.

Thank you! Stones of all sizes and shapes are needed to build the house of God! We just need to diligently do our part to fit where we are intended.

100% yes! Fear of man is the strongest motivator for forced compliance. People will bow to the lie, even knowing it’s a lie so they aren’t persecuted or intimidated by men. Everywhere in the news and media this s weaponizing of fear is being used as propaganda. I see it in my local paper. When you dare to stand up and say you do not fear, you are attacked and called many many unsavory things and many times are told you do not love others because you aren’t succumbing to the fear mongering. This year has shown me how fearful people truly are. And why we are warned that our brothers and sisters will turn on us—even in the church. Thank you for reminding us to stand strong and be bold.

Thank you for this reminder. Goodness, good works, zeal, does not equal righteousness if ALL commandments are not being followed. I know some AMAZING good people, who honestly put me to shame and I can learn from. But they throw themselves into Christmas, trinity, Easter, heaven/hell, and declare the law is done away. Their goodness is not righteousness. But wow. When their eyes are finally opened to TRUTH and the tree of LIFE, what amazing coworkers in Christ they are going to be! ❤️ Unfortunately this concept of good va Godly is a giant sticky point for so many. My aunt never was able to fathom how her good friends were not Godly. And she ultimately left the church to join them.

Thank you for this sermon! I really like how you referred to the Israelites preferring a “messenger” between them and God as “secondhand commandments”. Truth absolutely is nearly impossible to hold onto.

Mr. Beam. Thank you for talking about the uncomfortable truth about our nation. I am appalled that there are members of the church who vote democrat even knowing all that the party supports. Thank you for calling liberalism out for what it is. Thank you for bringing to light what we are dealing with and why we MUST understand the threat we are facing as a church.

This was a great sermon! We definitely need to be sighing and crying and not afraid to preach the truth!

Beautifully said! Last year (and still tosay) Seeing so many brethren okay with stores and work, but refusing church is worrisome indeed. Put God first, use wisdom, prepare for what needs to be done. This nation is a hotbed of cancel culture and our beliefs Are to be cancelled according to the social rules. So we MUST be prepared to speak the truth and walk in truth even if we lose eveything. Very sobering.

Thank you for the reminder you gave at the end to not get overwhelmed with what the carnal mind if the world is setting into laws and rules. The reminder that without God the humans mind is perverted and depraved. This we shouldn't be surprised at the evil it can accomplish. But to trust in the sound mind the Spirit provides in us.

Thank you so much for this sermon! Just hearing the reminders about faith casting out fear and how Satan desires us to live in a state of fear was so comforting.

Thank you for this sermon duo. It was excellent and thought provoking. It came at a good time for me.

Thank you. Thank you so much. I needed to hear this after a rough two weeks of “trying to control” everything. I am eager to listen to part 2!

My boys have always thought the decorations of the season were gross. And they from a very young age were able to recognize it wasn't a godly holiday. They said it was scary and God wasn't scary. They said it was full of blood and guts. And they knew that wasn't God's way. Also they said pretending to be someone else to trick people was lying. If little children can recognize this, why can't other people? Satan has truly turned something evil and sweetened it--literally--to be something good. All it takes is a smidge of research to find all of it's pagan connections with death and evil spirits and demonic realm
