You might want to add the circumstance of infant baptism: Having been raised in the Greek Orthodox Church, I was baptized when I was a baby. We are instructed in Acts 2:38, we are to repent before being baptized. As a baby does not understand repentance, the baptism is not valid. After God called me as an adult I understood this and was subsequently re-baptized.

After praying for wisdom in dealing with this very situation, I was led to the answer in an archived Day of Atonement sermon. Referencing Lev. 23:27 regarding fasting being afflicting one's soul, he stated that the elderly and those who were ill were already afflicted.
Under the circumstances, that was a great relief!
I hadn't realized we are the tenth most popular Christian website in the world until now. That is encouraging because, even though we may not be presently growing in attendance, there are still many currently being exposed to the truth. May they have their eyes opened and take the next step!
