How does Matthew 18 play into this? If you ignore attacks by church members, we are not really united or reconciled. We would most likely avoid the person and not be bonded without utilizing the reconciliation process provided to us from God and instructs us to use.

I think the 'term' Mr. Elliott is looking for at times in this message is 'ethos'. Most members want to be 'of God and His Kingdom' but it has been difficult to determine the "will of the Father' during these unusual times. Is it God's will to go to the feast or watch the messages from home? Is it the will of God to 'not forsake the assembling together' or are webcast and Zoom sessions still assembling? Which rulers of this world do we obey and which current science represents God's will? These unusual times do help up ask whom do we obey but the will of God is not as specific as I would prefer at times. We must be 'of God's Kingdom' but the ways we obey are a bit fuzzy.

What a clear and encouraging discussion on a topic so ridiculed in society and yet so important to God. God wants to know if we will submit for Satan did not and He wants a loving family. There are so many key points in this message that we can wisely apply into our thinking and living.

There are so many profitable gems in this message - so much to consider. I greatly appreciate the many facets and careful wording. And this message is timely yet timeless.

What a timely reminder. The news talked so much about the check but that talk started when people had only been a few weeks out of the normal routine. It seemed people were so quickly talking about how 'strapped they were' and I never heard anyone on the news say - isn't this a good reminder to not be living paycheck to paycheck but instead have your finances in good shape. Thank you for sharing wisdom instead of reinforcing poor habits.

I listened to this again now during the covid-19 restrictions. So, very timely once again.Mr. Pebworth brings a 'touchy' subject to his flock with wisdom and a friendly tone. I think another point that could be included is the Bible's teaching that we should have 2-3 credible witnesses before accusing someone or something. We surely cannot get 2-3 witnesses for many of the conspiracy theories or ideas being posted. And witnesses are not the same as 'something we saw on Facebook or even the news'. Witnesses were eyewitnesses. Without someone who was actually at the scene, we are just sharing gossip as Mr. Pebworth stated.

Wow, what a great message, so needed in this crazy world. I wish I were in your congregation for the interactive parts.

I appreciate the messages and reminders you provide here. We can develop a bad habit of stirring things up instead of seeking to understand we all have a different perspective - none of which are God's.

What an excellent reminder for each of us. I greatly appreciate the discussion on how God reveals His knowledge. We surely are not coming up with wisdom and knowledge on our own. Reading the scriptures is key in the revelation process. Thank you for this valuable message.

Great work on this video - lots of great content succinctly presented and lots of humor to help people relate to it and remember it. We do hope you will bring more of this modern way of reaching others with the gems of God's Word.

    His teachings were 'too' difficult...

Great points - very real and honest. What you suggest would be great church culture. Overcoming sinn would be celebrated, kind of like what those angels in heaven do.

Great reminder that God is sovereign.

Excellent reminder! We all need this so often. Thanks for being very specific and including so many scriptures. Your tone and expression seemed very empathetic and understanding - we all have to work on this so we may as well work on it together.

I was surprised that the chart included in the article did not mention sin. It felt as though the chart favored alliteration more than addressing what separates us from God. Several of the steps seem to be a reflection of modern churches.
