    The Bible does not describe the two witnesses as two individuals, it says two witnesses. The church as a whole could be ONE of the witnesses.

    Wow! Glad I watched this because most pastors dont teach that being born again is a process leading up to when Christ comes. What we do in our mortality is only a step towards being fully born again.

    That's good to know because that's exactly what happened at the old church I used to go to and they shut down that entire ministry for that reason. Being such a loner, I would love to meet some like minded female friends to hang out with sometimes.

    I guess I missed out on this one being new to UCG. When will there be another singles event? I feel like a fish out of water sometimes being around mostly couples at church, haha. While I love having all the great examples around me, I tens to feel weird socializing at times. I have tried to get people I know to visit with me but its hard when so many people would rather do other things on Saturday.

    You have to remember that Satan also has a spirit that is at work in this world and some who only CLAIM they have the Holy Spirit do not. Many people use the name of the Lord while operating under a satanic spirit. The Bible warns us of this. He and his workers transform themselves into angels of light. The word DOES indeed say the Spirit distributes these gifts as He sees fit.

    Sorry for your loss, but unfortunately its God's standards, not our opinion that matters in the case of suicide. Only He can say who is forgiven and who is not. He sets the standard for life and death.

    The thing is suicide is still a sin. And you must repent to be forgiven. And unfortunately in the case of suicide you cannot repent for obvious reasons. Unless of course death was not instant and the person was in their right mind to repent before dying due to their injuries.

    That incomplete scripture you gave is not saying don't judge. Its speaking of hypocritical judgement. In other words, don't be in the same sin you tell someone else not to commit. If you read the entire passage in correct context, it says FIRST remove the log from your eye and then you will see clearly the speck in your brother's eye. Most people like to omit that part.
