That says precept must be upon precept. So you must use scripture to interpret scripture.

This is from the bible in Isaiah 28 9,10
"Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? ... For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.”
That says precept MUST be upon precept. and line upon line, that literally means you interpret the scriptures with the scriptures and you get a bit of understanding as you do this.
