This is an excellent reminder of what it means to seek Him and learn more about who He is.

James 1:5 is one of my favorite scriptures. It is one of those scriptures that can't be applied until we recognize it is talking about us. You won't ask for something you don't know you need. I don't think any of us ever reach a point where we have so much wisdom we don't need to ask for more. Anyway, great sermon!

You are very courageous for sharing your story and I hope that it helps others. I would add that even those fake attempts, or those that are seen as a cry for help, are cries for help that should be listened to. Those who resort to this kind of thing in order to have others reach out to them, do so because they can think of no other way to open communication about what they are feeling or what they are going through. It might seem fake or unreal, but the feelings behind it are feelings that are very real and for some reason cannot be dealt with in a mature way. Kudos to you for sharing your story in order to help others.

As always you have given us a lot to think about and to act on. There is so much growth on an individual level and collectively that the church needs to move forward in. I know I have a lot of changes to make, and my list keeps growing as I search myself for Passover. A river of water is one of those things I want to become without thinking about it but just acting on it and knowing that my actions are the correct ones. Perfection, oh if it was only that easy. But, I am a work in progress and growing with each Passover.

I know this was meant for the young people, but it never hurts for us who are a little older to be reminded of those things that make life work.

This message was a great reminder to keep my mouth in check. Thank you!

I really appreciate the review on this. Sometimes we need to be reminded of just how God sees things.

I just finished listening to this. Wow! That was a strong message that I think the whole church should hear. Thank you for taking the time to present it.

This was interesting. The physical and the spiritual really do work hand in hand.

This sermon gave me a lot to think about. I had never thought about the book of Jonah, from his perspective, in such detail. Thank you for bringing so much out in the sermon.

It is interesting that I would choose this sermon to listen to today. I had no idea what it would be about, but I am glad I listened to it. I made a decision several weeks ago to take every situation that comes my way and either find the good in it, or find a positive way to respond to it. Sometimes it isn't quite as easy as other times. But, the most interesting thing is, the more I do it, the more of a habit it becomes, which makes it easier each time. I wanted to expand on that and make an effort to do at least one thing each day that helped those around me, have a better day. I tend to do that anyway, but I wanted to make it into a project that took some actual thought to make it happen. I was glad to hear that was part of this sermon. It takes an effort to take on each day with that goal in mind. You can't sit around and wait for the opportunity, you have to recognize or even create the opportunity yourself. I have a feeling that after a while it too will become more of a habit. I can't say that I am a Debby Downer, I try to be positive in most cases, but there is a huge difference when you set out to eradicate the negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts.

Wow, how I can relate to this one. The list of people who were given up on before they ever began, so many of us can relate to that. Sitting with my back to the wall, having to be able to see as many avenues of entrance into my space as possible, both my brother and I do that. Going out to eat with him is a matter of finding a place we both feel comfortable in. Knowing that no matter what, God is going to be there, that is what we all need to hold on to. I found this to be extremely encouraging and will probably listen to it again in the future. I try to be encouraging to other people, but sometimes I do slip into the discouraging and complaining role. I have to work harder at not that letting that happen. I am glad I listened to this one. I will probably listen to it again.

That is very true. Thank you for reminding us all of that simple but important detail.

We have so much to learn from one another and conversation definitely opens that door. Thank you!
