    Re Clint Porter's sermonette on 12th June. I am wondering WHY (about 14mins in) he omitted mention of the Holy Spirit when speaking about baptism. Only mentioning (in the name of) "the Father and Jesus Christ." That is not the full statement Christ made, recorded in Matt. 28:19. Also - I thought it very odd when he taught that; "we should look at the third Commandment as the HYPOCRISY Commandment."

    Regarding the sermon given by Mr. Lamoureux. I'm going from memory only. He said that "King David" had fought Goliath, but David was NOT king at the time of that event. He said that we needed --- "to worry" --- about seeking the Kingdom of God! That was erroneous. He also spoke about Christ placing Himself in the position of High Priest, but it was God (the Father) who appointed Him to that position. He referred to Christ (High Priest in heaven) as being a -- "negotiator" -- but did he perhaps mean to say -- mediator or intercessor? (Then again perhaps he really did mean to say "negotiator" - in which case, wouldn't that convey a very different meaning? Perhaps he could have explained what he meant by that term which would (I think) have been very unfamiliar to most listening.

    S. in "Discerning the Time of Jesus’ Return"
    There are just a couple of things I would like to mention. The 'transcript' online records what you said. The following is from that transcript: - "... what Christ said in verse 4, “Take heed, no one deceives you, for many will come in my name saying I am the Christ and will deceive many. " However, what came up ON SCREEN - in the TV prog. was DIFFERENT and the part I wish you to focus in on [which was televised]. is as follows: - "..... my name saying 'I am the Christ' and ....". Notice how that the words (I am the Christ) were in quotation marks! But that's NOT what people coming will say! People will NOT say [individually] - 'I am the Christ' - but they come preaching that Jesus IS the Christ! [Jesus was the One speaking]. False ministers coming, teaching a false [version of] christianity, in other words. A second point is that; you stated: "Are the leaves on the trees? How close is summertime? We consider the signs that Jesus foretold. Isn’t it fair to say summer’s right here?" Did you actually mean to say SUMMER or intend to say SPRING is right here? Thirdly, the tel no. should be MUCH larger (at least 2" h on TV)! Booklet title smaller.

    I was VERY confused by part of the sermon that was given, from 20:19secs to 30:49secs
 
20:00. 1 Corinthians, Chapter 12. Mr. Dunkle read out: 
==================================================== 29:19 “to another, gifts of HEALING... working of MIRACLES"

 29:39 (glasses off).

 29:45 "... a few years ago I looked at this and I said ‘uh’, you know; when I think of gifts of the Spirit, I think of HEALING, you know; I want to walk on water, turn water into wine, … fly, see through walls.

You DON’T see much of THAT here. You see, basically, gifts that deal with COMMUNICATION and THINKING.
 You see - wisdom, - discerning,“ [then it says:] “prophecy (and that’s NOT foretelling the future but inspired speaking). Interpretation of tongues, - wisdom, - faith. 

These ARE powerful gifts of the spirit. You don’t have to be - working a MIRACLE, or maybe I should say, that IS a miracle. Which of these gifts of the spirit do you have? Likely more than one of them and you can put them to use." [30:40]. ”You have words of encouragement? Words of wisdom? The ability to discern? [30:49] The ability to exercise faith?” =================================//END I may write more later.

    S. in "The Time Is Now"

    Above it quotes Habak. 2:6 and Habak 2:12 after the author has written about 'God standing among the nations and taking their measure." I have looked at those scripture references and do not see a match up and so, consider, that the reference should be Habak. 3:6 ("He stood and measured the earth, he looked and shook the nations"). Habak. 2:12 reference may also be incorrect for that reads: "Woe to him who builds a town with blood, and founds a city on iniquity).

    The date of posting of this article was extremely timely, with mention therein of God bringing judgment on the nations.

    S. in "Where Are We in Bible Prophecy? "
    In the programme, at 18:50-55, this SCRIPTURE appeared, in text, on screen: "What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" Mr. McNeely was reading it out, but, Instead of saying [as written] - SIGN (singular) - he said "signs" [plural] - and that is different!

    S. in "How Can a Man Take YOUR Crown?"

    The correct translation of Rev. 2:11 is (as quoted about) -- that NO ONE take your crown, but in the preceding statement (to that quote), the writer interprets - "no one" [Greek: Medeis] - as "no man" which is different.. 'Medeis' meaning, properly [as defined by one commentary] as, "no one, nothing" – literally, "not even one."

    S. in "Jesus' Warning to "Watch": Just What Did He Mean?"

    Above, you write; - "In Matthew 26:37-40, the meaning of “watch” is primarily physical. Jesus was chiding the disciples for not remaining awake during the hour preceding His arrest."

    If one reads on past v40 one will find that there were TWO more times (v42, v44) that Jesus came to His disciples and found them still sleeping. As He said in prayer the same words [v44, as the first time He had prayed for "one hour" (v40) so the 'chiding' was NOT during the hour that preceded His arrest, but was in fact - TWO - hours preceding it.

    S. in "Jesus' Warning to "Watch": Just What Did He Mean?"

    You write; - "He again said, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority” (Acts 1:7)."

    You write "again said". When had Jesus made that that same statement quoted, before?

    In light of your statements r(elated to the above statement by Jesus - Acts 1:7) that follow (i.e. "because we don't know the timing.." - a matter of NOT KNOWING TIMES, the SEASONS) , how would you explain Paul's statement (Rom. 11:33): "And that, KNOWING THE TIME, that NOW it is high time to awake from sleep... the Day is at hand" ? If such a time/season was unknowable?
