Thank you for your wonderful article. Yes, with these gifts from our Creator there also comes great responsibility, just as with other human members of our family. And, as with other endeavors, before obtaining a pet we must be sure to "count the cost" of raising and sustaining our little friends until their inevitable temporal end.

Interesting that the promotion of "nakedness" has become rampant and easier in our information technological new age. Lots more stuff to look at (social media, videocams, selfies) and read and increasing ways and desires to self promote, but a drout of wisdom along with easy emotional stampeding (running to and fro) at the seeming drop of a hat. Amidst all this, we all should remember about the humility that Christ taught. And remember too that the most salient characteristic of real spiritual beings is the humility of being invisible to human beings, of being covered, of being covert. Perhaps that's why "nakedness" is an abomination. It's the direct opposite of the kind (kin) that God is and Jesus is now (for awhile) -- invisible and subtle as far as human perception goes.

Thanks, Kevin, for putting Independence Day in perspective. Looks like the days have passed when even our Presidents would publicly acknowledge our ultimate DEPENDENCE on God and his prescriptions for national/collective blessings. Increasingly, it seems government is being seen as THE "savior".
