The real poverty humans experience is that of the heart. That is often irreparable. That is the bank account to which we need to continually add a little each day to maintain a good balance. Jesus told us to lay up for ourselves treasure in heaven where moth, rust and thieves cannot destroy it (Matthew 6:19-20 Matthew 6:19-20 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust does corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
