Did God save Donald Trump’s life so he could “Make America Great Again”? Don’t be so sure… God certainly plays a role in American politics (Daniel 2:21), but He’s not an American. He has an agenda all His own, and you’re called to be a part of it.

Pope Francis has died. Soon, the conclave will gather to elect his replacement, but could this Pope be the last? Nostradamus and some key figures of the Catholic church seem to think so, according to a prophecy that predicts how many Popes there will be before the end time. But is there any truth to this “prophecy,” or is it just another conspiracy theory? Come to think of it… what’s the difference?

Is God okay with interracial marriage? After all, it’s the 21st century—surely God has kept up with the times… right?

When you commit to God, you will still struggle. It’s natural. It’s normal. And most importantly, it’s going to be an important part of your Christian experience.  Let’s magnify these common feelings in light of God’s message of hope, and look at ways to grow through them.

Is your salvation ever in jeopardy? Some Christians believe in "eternal security," where your salvation is secure no matter what you do. While others believe in "earned salvation," where you purchase your salvation by performing good deeds. This is an ancient debate going back to the beginning of the Christian faith. And, honestly, it should have been over a long time ago. So let’s magnify the Scriptures to understand.

You wrote some great challenges to our case against Lent and our claim that God shows mercy to those who never knew Him, and we’ve been eager to respond.

Something’s not right about Lent. Taken on its own, it seems fine — some of the practices are even great if done in the right spirit — but a closer look reveals a tradition with Scripture-defying symbolism that can lead us away from the Holy Days God Himself commands us to observe.

Millions have died without ever hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. But, if the only path to the Kingdom of God is THROUGH that gospel, what hope is there for un-contacted tribal peoples, children who have tragically died far too young, or people born BEFORE Christ? What's their fate? Purgatory? Hell?! Or, maybe this question is evidence that the God of the Bible doesn’t exist… Thankfully, the truth is so much better than any of that.

The Bible is full of wisdom — too full. I mean, this isn't just any old book, it's a whole LIBRARY bound up in one single package. So, where do you start? Sometimes you stare, and you squint, and you pray, but that great wisdom that you know you *should* be gleaning just won't come. Well, here are 3 questions to ask yourself to un-complicate your Bible study.

Why didn’t God just say “Thou shalt not own slaves” in the Bible? Bad interpretation: it's the reason some Christians have done horrible things AND some have done wonderful things, all while quoting the same scriptures at each other. That’s where hermeneutics comes in. Hermeneutics may sound like an academic theory, but Jesus HIMSELF advocates for this practice of accurate interpretation in Luke 24:27. And, I mean… why WOULDN'T you want to read the Bible the way God intended you to?
