Atlanta & Buford Combined - Service at 2:00 pm
On May 6th, both the Atlanta and Buford congregations will meet together for Sabbath services at the Unity Atlanta building in Peachtree Corners (address and map below). Because we will receive a webcast from Cincinnati during the General Conference of Elders, the service will begin at 2:00 pm. Brethren are asked to be seated by 1:50 pm.
Visitors from other church areas and those who desire to worship God with us are welcome to attend. You'll find us a warm congregation.
We will have a Coffee service and light snacks in the Fellowship Hall after the service. However, please do not bring food or beverages onto any carpeted parts of the building (including the Sanctuary).
Illnesses:
God's church has always adhered to the Biblical principles of quarantining involving illnesses (Lev 13, Philippians 2:4). If you have any symptoms of an illness, please do not attend services. Further, if you or your family know of someone who has been exposed to COVID-19, or other communicable illness, and you have had recent contact with him or her, please do not attend. Instead, our Sabbath and Holy Day services are webcast - please stay at home and watch our streaming service.
For those who do attend with us on the Sabbath, here are other precautions that apply:
Washing Hands: Please wash your hands as often as needed. Restrooms are located in the lobby.
Children: Children should remain at all times with a responsible adult or teen family member. Do not allow children to run at any time, especially considering that there may be senior citizens nearby. Certain areas and rooms are off-limits - ensure that children do not enter these areas.
Song Books: We do have hymnals for the song service, but will also be projecting the hymn lyrics on two large screens. You may also download UCG’s Hymnal App on your phone. Feel free to use your own personal hymnal if you prefer.
