We invite everyone to join us for the Atlanta/Buford Summer Picnic at Cauble Park on Lake Acworth on Sunday, September 10th at 11am. Cauble Park is a beautiful lakeside park in Acworth boasting a sand beach with designated swimming area, shaded picnic pavillion areas, a large playground, boat ramp (for non-motorized boats such as kayaks, canoes, or stand up paddle boards), and a fishing dock (fishing licenses are required). 

We ask that attendees use the below link to indicate how many will be in their party and sign-up to bring an item from the set menu. Please bring enough food and beverage for your party, plus one more person.

We will also need a few volunteer grill masters to assist with grilling the hot dogs and burgers on the charcoal grill onsite. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Sierra Briggs directly at sierra.gomperts@gmail.com or 760-917-7093.

Time: We ask that guests arrive at 11:00a to allow time for us to prepare the potluck and begin grilling in time for serving lunch.

Location: Pavilion 5 at Cauble Park - 4425 Beach Street, Acworth, GA 30101

Parking: Since our picnic will take place in the "offseason" after Labor Day, parking will be free but may be limited. 

Suggested items to bring: picnic blankets, beach chairs, sand toys, sunscreen, towels, swimsuits, lawn games, etc.
