Attend When Healthy, Rest When Sick

As much as we love assembling together—especially at the Feast of Tabernacles—sometimes the most loving choice is to refrain from attending. If you’re experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, stomach troubles, or other signs of illness, please take the time to rest and recover. Protecting the health of others—especially our elderly, young children, and expectant mothers—is an act of Christian love and consideration.

The Bible teaches the principle of quarantine as an expression of outgoing concern. By resting apart when sick, you not only protect your brethren, you also set an example of God’s way of life in His coming Kingdom.

And remember—when we’re healthy, God requires us to attend His commanded assemblies. If you must miss services due to illness, please join us via the webcast, and then return in person as soon as you’re well.
