Trusting God’s timing can be incredibly challenging. Like the Israelites wandering in the desert, we often forget His past goodness and slip into that familiar Pit of Despair (yes, that was a Princess Bride reference. I’m not sorry). Even though we know the hope-filled promises of Romans 8:28 and Matthew 6:33, we can still get caught in cycles of anxiety and stress when the good we’re hoping for doesn’t happen now.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

It’s a constant battle to keep stress at bay while continually surrendering your burdens to God. We’ve discussed strategies like fasting to face these challenges, but how can you trust that God will fulfill the promises in the Bible? This week, we’ll dive into understanding God’s miracles and trusting His timing in your life.

Waiting patiently for God’s blessings with faith and fellowship,

Why Don't We See More Miracles? | United Church of God

Does God still perform miracles? It seems like He did them all the time when you read the Bible. Elisha was making iron axe heads float, Jonah was living inside a giant fish for three days and three nights, and Peter was healing people's crippled limbs left and right. So why does life look so different today? Follow along as Micah Gunn discusses miracles in the modern age.
