On the Holy Day of Pentecost (Lev 23:15-22, Acts 2:1-40) the Atlanta and Buford congregations will assemble at the Unity Building in Peachtree Corners for a single Holy Day service.  We'll be in the Sanctuary for the 3:00 pm service (note - this is later than we normally start, the hall will be open at 1:30 pm).

What is Pentecost?  It's the annual reminder of the beginning of the church that Christ founded on this day after Christ's resurrection fifty days earlier.  And it's the day that Christ and the Father first made available the Holy Spirit to baptized members of God's church.

For a more complete explanation, here's an article that provides further information about the gift of the Holy Spirit - Pentecost and the Promise of the Father | United Church of God (ucg.org).

As usual on God's Holy Days, we'll collect an offering (we only do so on the annual Holy Days).

And after the service, we will have a covered dish meal in the Fellowship Hall.
