Dear members and families of the Body of Christ,

This letter comes to you with an urgent and heartfelt request for prayers of healing and restoration on behalf of our brother, Rick Shabi, who is once again facing serious health challenges.

As many of you know from the earlier prayer requests from the Council of Elders and the Shabi family, Rick suffered a major heart attack shortly after Sabbath services in Florida on July 19. He had recently returned to Florida following his service in Cincinnati as president of the Church. Initially, reports from his family gave us hope—Rick appeared to be on a slow but steady path toward recovery.

However, we have since learned that his condition has taken a turn for the worse. Sadly, additional complications have now arisen, and we are told that his condition has grown gravely serious. The next 24 to 48 hours are critical.

We serve a God of infinite power, mercy and love. Throughout Scripture, we see God’s faithfulness and His willingness to heal according to His will. We ask that you fervently join us in praying for divine intervention—for strength and healing for Rick during this severe trial. We also lift up in prayer his devoted wife Deborah, their children, and the entire Shabi family during this time of great difficulty.

Let us come together as one Body, trusting in God’s perfect will, and united in our prayers for Rick and his family.
