Prayer Request Update - Laura Scott
From Craig Scott, pastor, Raleigh, NC:

Laura had her first round of chemo 7/23/25. We are preparing ourselves for a tough time. So, far the expected side effects have not hit and she is doing well.

Her oncologist is excited about a new therapy that has just come out of clinical trials and shown good results (it just came out two weeks ago). He wants to implement it with Laura. It's not a new drug; it's a new implementation of something already on the market. We just need to get it approved by the insurance company... it's expensive.

The new therapy route would cut her chemo down to three sessions from the four currently planned. It would also mean she would not go through radiation. Both would be big wins for us.

Please pray with us that God grants us favor with the insurance team and that they agree to cover this new (but well tested) form of cancer therapy.
