Hello everyone,

Several have asked for an update on Makayla Thomas. Here is a brief summary of her health by way of Scott and Crystal Thomas.

On Friday, 10/23/26, Makayla's doctors will perform a lumbar puncture to measure her spinal fluid pressure to help determine the next steps in her treatment. Depending on the results, they may consider either a lumbar drain or a blood patch.
