Hi everybody,

There’s nothing worse than praying for somebody and having no idea what’s working, so I wanted to give you a quick update, to let you know what’s happening and give you kudos for a great job on your prayers as I am seeing improvements on my arms. I had my last surgery on Monday to recover from a back wound that was allowed in the first hospital. This has created the need for me to lay flat for the next 5 to 6 weeks… Yeah, kind of tired of looking at the ceiling vent above me. This may be a curse to many, but it has allowed me to get five additional weeks of physical therapy and the great news is that there are improvements every day. I still don’t have the finger dexterity I would need to function well, so if you think maybe we should be done with praying, the answer is no, still need a lot of help and a lot of prayers for the fingers. On the legs they say there’s a 100 to 1 chance that I’ll ever walk. But once again, if the one chance means God and Christ stepping in, then those odds look pretty good to me. From a pain standpoint, I’m really not encountering any, so right now I’m sitting back on cushions being fed three times a day with grapes. So, in some regards, I’m not too far off from a sultan in the Ottoman Empire. But I think they had better views. Thank you all truly for your prayers and the answer is yes. I absolutely do need them to continue. The next few weeks will tell me a lot about the quality of life I’ll come to live with, but so far I’m seeing your prayers and God’s work in action, so thank you. Please keep it up.
