UCG Announcements (2/8/25)
Hi friends,
I just sent an email with a set of local prayer requests that require your attention. The requests include Deanna Hooper, Rita Swanson, Hynethia Jones, and Bill and Paola Brown. Feel free to share the email with others. Thank you.
Below are our local Atlanta and Buford announcements for this week.
1. Combined Service & Covered-Dish Meal: Elevated International Cuisine (2/8). Tomorrow, Atlanta and Buford will be combined at Unity Atlanta for Sabbath Services at 2:30 PM. Because it’s the second Sabbath of the month, we will have Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study classes too. Students, be sure to bring a Bible to class so you can participate.
After services, we will have a covered-dish meal. The theme of our meal is Elevated International Cuisine. Plan to bring a dish from some foreign land that would routinely be served at a nicer restaurant. I’ll leave it to you to interpret what this means. As usual, we ask that you bring enough food and drink for your family, plus one person. This will ensure our guests are taken care of too.
2. Sick this week? Tune into the Atlanta Webcast. If you are sick this Sabbath, plan to watch the Atlanta webcast tomorrow online. To view the service, enter the password tree of life (with no spaces) in the channel password box. The URL location is: https://www.ucg.org/congregations/atlanta-ga/webcast
3. Next Atlanta UCG Bible Study: 2/11. We covered Revelation 17 in our latest Atlanta Bible Studies. Our next Zoom study takes place on Tuesday, February 11, at 7 PM. Mr. Jerold Aust will go through Revelation 18. Below is the information to attend this study online.
