UCG Announcements (2.14.26): Combined Service, Covered-dish Meal, Sabbath School & Teen Study
Hi friends!
What a difference a day makes. By the time you read this week’s update, we will be well into God’s Sabbath (Exodus 20:8-11). We will have left our work-a-day world, our school pattern, and our to-do lists and transitioned into a time of peace, calm, and clarity about what’s real and important (Exodus 31:17, Exodus 35:2, Mark 2:27). This day is a reprieve from all that consumes us the other six days. Additionally, it’s a wonderful reminder of what the future holds when God’s Kingdom is setup on this earth (Isaiah 58:13-14, Hebrews 4:9). Welcome to God’s Sabbath! I am glad you made it.
1. Combined Service in Atlanta & Meal: 2/14. Tomorrow, we will combine for Sabbath services in Atlanta. Sabbath services will begin at 2:30 PM.
Afterward, we will have a covered-dish meal. Taking a page from the Olympics taking place in northern Italy, the theme will be A Taste of Italy. Plan to bring your favorite Italian food and drinks. As always, we ask that you bring enough food for your family, plus one person. Buono!
2. Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study Classes: 2/14. We are set for Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study classes once more tomorrow in Atlanta. Dads and Moms, teens and preteens, please make sure your young person has a Bible ready to go for class.

7. Feast Planning Brochure. Annually, the “Festival Planning Brochure” has been produced to identify the locations for the Feast of Tabernacles and also share helpful articles, hotel recommendations and instructions for registering. This publication was mailed to all member households arriving in early April. While it has served as a convenient and useful tool for planning, updates and corrections have often become available after it was printed. In addition, most members now have internet access and rely primarily on the Feast of Tabernacles webpage for information. Therefore, a decision has been made to print a summary of Feast details in a special section of United News and post the rest online.
To see this year’s Feast of Tabernacles sites and determine the deadline for registering for the site you want to attend, click here: http://Feast.UCG.org
Need help with Feast registration? Our local Feast Advisors are here to help with questions and registration. Contact Steve Holladay in Buford and Bob McCurdy in Atlanta for this help. If you need Feast Assistance, you may contact them in person or by phone.
8. 2026 United Youth Camps. This year’s Young Adult, Teen, and Preteen Camp information is currently being loaded on the United Youth Camp website. For those who are planners, the dates of these camps are available. Here are the links to get a first look at this information.

Memory Verse
Jeremiah 7:21-22 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat. 22 For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices. 23 But this is what I commanded them, saying, “Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.”
