Friends,

It’s hard to imagine more enjoyable temperatures than what we’ve experienced the past few days here in north Georgia. This weather couldn’t come at a better time with United teens and their families coming to town this Saturday and Sunday for the 2025 Southeast Regional Weekend. I spent part of the morning watching and helping our formal dance decoration crew—headed up by Deanna Hooper, Casey McShay, and Kristine Talbott—turn the Fellowship Hall into a medieval castle. It’s really amazing what they are able to do in terms of formal dance decorations. It’s a team effort that is consistently special for our attendees. Once more, I share a big thank you to Sierra Briggs and everyone who’ve pitched in (or will pitch in) to make this event unforgettable!

With an eye toward our Sabbath schedule, here are this week’s announcements. Please make sure you read them in detail so you are up on everything.

Memory Verse

Exodus 16:4-5: Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not. And it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.” (Preparing for the Sabbath the Day Before)
