UCG Announcements (4/11/26)
Happy Sabbath,
After an incredibly positive Last Day of Unleavened Bread, this evening at sunset we have the privilege once more of keeping God’s Sabbath and coming together tomorrow for services to honor God and encourage one another. While we’ve been combined for services multiple times the past week, tomorrow we are back in our two service locations: one in Buford and one in Atlanta.
However, before we leave these days, let me thank everyone who served in some way during these Spring Feasts. To all those who helped make the Passover and the First and Last Day of Unleavened Bread a success, thank you! Thank you to those who were out front (e.g., song leaders, speakers, those who offered prayers). And thank you to those who discreetly and quietly served behind the scenes without acknowledgment; that includes our ushers, sound crew, cooks, cleaners, special music presenters, and everyone else I’ve not noted here. Keeping in mind Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12, it was wonderful seeing our gifts blended in a way that honored God and reflected the meaning of these days.
As we anticipate seeing each other again tomorrow, here are this Sabbath’s announcements.
1. Next Atlanta Hymn Sing: 4/11. Our next Atlanta hymn sing takes place tomorrow (4/11) at 1:15 PM. Charlie Graby is coordinating the event. Plan to come early and honor God in hymns of praise.
2. Sabbath Services in Atlanta and Buford: 4/11. Tomorrow, we are back in our two local congregations. The Buford congregation will meet at the Holiday Inn Express, Bethlehem (Georgia) at 10:30 AM for services. In the afternoon, the Atlanta congregation will meet at Unity Atlanta at 2:30 PM for services.
3. Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study Classes: 4/11. Our next local Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study classes take place tomorrow in Atlanta. Parents, be sure your child has a Bible for classes when they meet.

7. Feast of Tabernacles Information. The Festival Planning Guide is available online at http://feast.ucg.org. Go there to see the latest information regarding the Feast of Tabernacles sites both domestically and abroad. We are rapidly approaching the dates of registration for the U.S. and Canadian sites. Here are key dates you should keep in mind.
Key Dates for United States and Canadian Feast Attendees
Sunday, April 19: Preliminary registration begins at 12 p.m. EDT for those who must attend their closest site.
Sunday, April 26: Registration is open at 12 p.m. EDT for all United States and Canadian Feast sites (except if a site has reached capacity).
Need help with Feast Registration? Our Feast Advisors are here to help with questions and registration. Contact Steve Holladay in Buford and Bob McCurdy in Atlanta for help. If you need Festival Assistance, you may contact them in person or by phone.
8. UYC Camp registration is open! You can apply for camp and find all the needed information at http://ucg.org/members/uyc. This year everyone will need to create new camper (family) accounts and/or new staff accounts since we are using a new system. Once you have created your account, you can sign back into the same dashboard later to add or edit information and to complete required forms after you are accepted. A nice feature of the new system is that you will be able to reuse these same accounts to apply again in future years. All campers in the same family can be added under one family account, but each staff member will need their own individual staff account (for example, a teen who wants to be a camper at one camp and a staff member at another camp would need to use separate accounts for each role).
The application process requires you to upload the applicant’s photo and provide payment information before you can submit an application. You have the option to pay online (preferred), or you can choose an option to mail a check to the home office. If your camper needs a scholarship, you can begin that process by talking to your local pastor. If you have questions or need help, please email: uyc@ucg.org.

Earlier today, I sent out the following prayer request from Hazel Bauer regarding her husband Terry.
Hazel Bauer is asking for your prayers for her husband, Terry. Terry was scheduled for a heart procedure this morning. As a result of the procedure, his doctor discovered that Terry's left anterior descending artery is 99% blocked beyond a stent. Additionally, he has two other arteries that are 100% blocked that cannot be stented. As a result, his medical team has put in a transfer order for Terry to go by ambulance to Piedmont Atlanta for triple bypass surgery. Terry will stay at Piedmont at 1700 Medical Way until they have a bed ready for him. This may not be until tomorrow. We ask that you please go to God on behalf of Terry so that he is healed and that his surgery goes well. Thank you for doing so.
Those are our announcements this week. Have a great Sabbath. Travel safely.
In love,
Philip Aust

Memory Verse
Isaiah 2:2-3 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. 3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
