Hi everyone,

With the Spring Feasts now concluded, we are back in our two congregations tomorrow for services. Here is what you need to know as you prepare for services tomorrow in Buford and Atlanta.

1. Atlanta and Buford Sabbath Service Locations and Times: 4/26. Tomorrow, Buford will meet in Bethlehem for services at the Holiday Inn Express, Bethlehem. The address there is 775 Exchange Cir., Bethlehem, GA 30620. We’ve been asked to enter the hall from the back of the building. Services will begin at 10:30 AM.

The Atlanta congregation will meet at Unity Atlanta in Peachtree Corners. The address there is 3597 Parkway Ln, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. The afternoon service begins at 2:30 PM.

2. Ill this week? Tune into the Atlanta Webcast. If you are sick this Sabbath, plan to watch the Atlanta webcast online tomorrow. To view the service, enter the password tree of life (with no spaces) in the channel password box. The URL location is: https://www.ucg.org/congregations/atlanta-ga

3. Our Next Atlanta UCG Bible Study: 4/29. There will be an Atlanta online Bible Study on the evening of 4/29.   Mr. Jerold Aust will begin in the Book of RuthChapter 1. Below is the information to attend this study virtually.

We look forward to seeing you there.

4. GCE Sabbath Webcast: Coffee & Fellowship (5/3/25). On the Sabbath of May 3, we will combine for services at Unity Atlanta to watch the Sabbath webcast from this year’s General Conference of Elders in Cincinnati, Ohio. Note the Sabbath service begins at 2 PM. To ensure everything runs smoothly, please make sure you are at services early and seated by 1:55 PM. (Because of the webcast from the General Conference of Elders, we are not offering a local Atlanta webcast on 5.3.24.)

I will send out the URL for the webcast next week. Please check our Atlanta and Buford website (under Calendar) and/or your email for this link.

In that it’s the first Sabbath of the month, please plan to bring snacks and drinks for Coffee and Fellowship. Thanks so much.

5. Early Registration for Restricted Sites: April 20, 12 p.m. EDT – April 26, 6p.m. EDT Early registration applies only to the following restricted sites:

Lihue, Hawaii

Temecula, California

Walnut Creek, Ohio

A passcode is required to register for these sites. This passcode is available through pastors of assigned congregations. If you are unsure whether your congregation is assigned to one of these three sites, please check with your pastor.

Important: approval for these restricted sites is only guaranteed for members of designated congregations who register during the early registration window.

Once registered during early registration, you may begin making housing reservations.

General Registration: Opens April 27 at 12 p.m. EDT

All members may begin registering for the Feast at this time. All Feast sites are expected to have adequate capacity—except for the restricted sites of Lihue, Temecula, and Walnut Creek.

Restricted Sites – Approval Process: (April 27 Registration)

Lihue and Temecula: These sites are expected to reach capacity within 15 minutes. Everyone registering on April 27 will be placed on a waitlist. Applicants will receive an email (by later that afternoon or Monday) with the status of their request.

Walnut Creek: You will receive either immediate approval or be wait-listed at the time of registration.

Housing Reservations:

If you are attending any U.S. Feast site except for Lihue, Temecula, or Walnut Creek, you may book housing now, as these sites are not expected to reach capacity. However, be sure to officially register on April 27.

If you are planning to attend Lihue or Temecula, it is recommended to wait for registration approval before making any housing or travel arrangements. Steve Myers, Operation Manager, Ministerial and Member Services

6. Need help with Feast registration? Our local Feast Advisors are here to help with questions and registration. Contact Steve Holladay in Buford and Bob McCurdy in Atlanta for this help. If you need Feast Assistance, contact them in person or by phone.

7. United Youth Camps–Application Deadline Approaching!

The application deadline for most United Youth Camps is May 1—just one week away! Be sure to review the details for each camp at uyc.ucg.org and submit your camper or staff application soon.

That gets you up to date with what’s important this Friday evening. Have a pleasant start to your Sabbath. See you at services tomorrow. Do travel safely.

Happy Sabbath!
