After services, we have a covered-dish meal planned. Please plan to contribute enough food and drink for your family, plus one person, for this special meal. The theme of this meal is Feast Day Family Favorites.

5. 2025 United Youth Camp. Final registration for Camp Woodland is June 2. This is the last teen camp open this summer. Campers and staff can register at uyc.ucg.org. Parents and campers, scholarships for teen camps are available for those who may need financial assistance. Please ask your pastor for details. We are really looking forward to another enjoyable camp season in the Zone. Apply now.

6. Atlanta Braves Baseball: 8/10. Like in summers past, we are looking to take in an Atlanta Braves game this year. This year it looks like Sunday, August 10th, is the best date to do so. The Braves play the Miami Marlins that day. Like last year, we plan to be in the shaded section of the stadium. Specifically, we would sit in section 425. Tickets are $27 per seat.

The game starts at 1:35 pm against the Marlins, and it is Family Day. This includes a Kids Run the Bases and free admission to the Sandlot activities.

We are interested in seeing how many people want to attend a game this year. Listen tomorrow for an announcement in Atlanta and indicate your desire to attend. If you are in Buford and want to attend the game, send Casey McShaw an email regarding your interest and include the number of people in your party. Her email address is caseymcshay@gmail.com.

Those are our announcements this week. Have a wonderful Sabbath evening, Sabbath day, and Feast of Pentecost.

Sincerely,

Philip Aust

Memory Verse

Numbers 30:1-2 Then Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the Lord has commanded: If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.
