UCG Announcements (6/21/25)
Hi everyone,
Happy Sabbath. After a longer than normal spring, we’ve shifted abruptly into summer. The forecast looks to be warm and sunny for quite some time going forward. For some of us, it’s welcome news. For others, it’s something to tolerate. Either way, it’s a reminder of who’s in charge: God (Genesis 8:22, Psalm 74:17).
As you enjoy the start of Sabbath this evening, here are this week’s announcements.
1. Sabbath Services in Buford and Atlanta on 6/21. Tomorrow, Buford will meet at the Holiday Inn Express, Bethlehem (Georgia) at 10:30 AM for services. In the afternoon, the Atlanta congregation meets at Unity Atlanta at 2:30 PM. Plan to leave early, drive safely, and arrive in plenty of time before the start of services.
2. Atlanta and Buford Choir Practice on 6/21 after Services. Our next choir practice takes place tomorrow after services in Atlanta. I look forward to seeing you there. Please review your part ahead of time and have a printed or digital copy of the sheet music to follow along with. Brian Scott [UPDATE - 7:09 pm - Due to a conflict with the Chapel Room, the choir practice will be re-scheduled]
3. Under the weather this week? Tune into the Atlanta Webcast. If you are sick this Sabbath, plan to watch the Atlanta webcast online tomorrow. To view the service, enter the password tree of life (with no spaces) in the channel password box. The URL location is: https://www.ucg.org/congregations/atlanta-ga
