UCG Announcements: Combined Service in Atlanta (9.27.25)
Hi friends,
After an outstanding Feast of Trumpets, we have services locally two more times in the next week before heading to the Feast of Tabernacles. Specifically, we have a weekly Sabbath service tomorrow (9/27) and then a High Day service on the Day of Atonement (10/2). Both services take place at Unity Atlanta, and both services begin at 2:30 PM. The address to Unity Atlanta is:
3597 Parkway Ln.
Peachtree Corners
Georgia, 30092
As commanded on each Feast day, we will take up an offering on the Day of Atonement. Please use a green-indexed UCG Holy Day offering envelope when you give your offering this coming Thursday. Thank you.
With sunset now upon us, here are several announcements worth your attention this Sabbath evening.
1. Under the weather this week? Tune into our UCG Atlanta Webcast. If you are sick this Sabbath, plan to watch the Atlanta webcast online tomorrow. To view the service, enter the password tree of life (with no spaces) in the channel password box. The URL location is: https://www.ucg.org/congregations/atlanta-ga
2. Sabbath of Oct. 4: No Local Service. This year we are not having a Sabbath service in Atlanta or Buford on October 4. Instead, you are encouraged to watch services from the Home Office. The service takes place at 2:30 PM. Here is a link for that Sabbath Webcast:

If you are among those who are traveling to the Feast early, see the separate announcement that offers a two-page PDF of the UCG congregations scheduled for services that day.
3. Interested in a Harmony of the Gospels offered by Mr. Dan Dowd? Please contact Bob McCurdy ASAP. We are in the process of ordering hard-copy versions of this text.
4. Excused Absence Form for the Fall Feasts. If you need an Excused Absence Form for the Fall Holy Days, contact one our elders: Mr. Jerold Aust, Mr. Charlie Graby, Dr. Steve Holladay, or me. We are happy to provide you this form.
5. Next Atlanta Bible Study: 10/21. Due to the Fall Feasts, our next UCG Atlanta Bible Study will occur on Tuesday evening, October 21 at 7 PM. The focus of these studies will be offered shortly.
6. Upcoming Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study Classes. Because the Feast of Tabernacles takes place the second Sabbath in October, our next Sabbath School and Teen Bible Study classes will next be offered in November. Here are the dates for our classes this academic year: 11/8, 12/13, 1/10, 2/14, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/9.
7. 2025 Winter Family Weekend. Get ready to be “Fueled by Faith!” Registration for the 2025 Winter Family Weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio is just around the corner. As in previous years, registration will open in phases. Please mark your calendars for this year’s dates:
- Sunday, Sept. 21: Registration opens for Team Captains ONLY.
- Thursday, Oct. 16: Early registration opens for attendees with special needs.
- Sunday, Oct. 19: General Registration opens for all attendees.
Hotel Information. We have secured blocks of rooms at a discount rate at two hotels. Please note that hotel booking will not be available until General Registration opens on October 19.
- The Warehouse Hotel (On-site at Champion Mill): The primary hotel for the event. Please note there is a required 4-night minimum stay for all reservations in our group block.
- Courtyard by Marriott (Nearby): For guests planning a shorter stay. This hotel does not have a minimum night requirement.
Important Reminder. The group booking codes and reservation links for both hotels will be released with General Registration on October 19. Registering as a Team Captain does not provide early access to hotel booking.
In closing, I thank everyone who participated in choir on the Feast of Trumpets for what was truly a special treat. Additionally, a big thanks goes to all those who brought food and drink to and helped with our covered-dish meal on Trumpets. I can’t think of a time when we had better cuisine.
With that, have a pleasant evening. See you tomorrow at services in Atlanta.
Happy Sabbath!
