As we reflect on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are reminded of one man’s unwavering commitment to peace and equality for all. While we live in a time when inequality and division still exist, we hopefully can take comfort and strength knowing that we wait for something indescribably beautiful. We wait in faith for the day when God's kingdom will come in its fullness—bringing true and lasting peace to the earth. Until then, let us strive to be instruments of that peace in our daily lives.

Walking with faith and fellowship,

Robin Webber discusses how sixty-one years ago, a relatively young man stood before an audience of a quarter of a million people gathered in the National Mall between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. There, he shared a dream with his fellow citizens. One man, with one dream, in one speech, spoke of one cherished treasure that had eluded his people—freedom.
