Ice Cream Social (TH): After services this Sabbath we will have our annual ice cream social. If you have any questions about what to bring, please check with Julie Shew.
Starved Rock Hike & Picnic (CIL): All are invited to grab their boots and water bottles and enjoy a hike at Starved Rock State Park on Sunday, August 16th. We'll meet at the visitor's center at 10:00am. The hike will be followed by lunch at the Keisel’s. (No need to bring anything except your water bottles and hiking shoes.) >> August 23rd is a back-up day if weather is bad on the 16th.
Young Adult Weekend: Young adults, you are invited to a regional Young Adult Weekend in beautiful Camp Moneto in southern Indiana from AUGUST 14th-17th. We will spend the weekend in fellowship, diving deep into the practical application of the bible, and exploring what it means to be Built To Serve. Hiking and other outdoor activities will be available, as well as organized group discussions and bible studies.
Registration is $150 a person, which includes 3 nights stay and all meals. Each attendee will need to bring their own bedding. Here is the link to the registration form. Deadline for registration is JULY 31st. See the attached flyer for information.
Festival Tithe Sharing: If you would like to share some of God’s tithe that you are setting aside, there are a number of causes that we collect for locally: East African brethren, West African brethren, our incarcerated brothers, and gift baskets for those who will be unable to travel for the Feast of Tabernacles. If you would like to share with any of these local collections, please send funds to either Kim Olar or Julie Shew along with a note about how you would like those funds to be dispersed.
Health & Safety Protocols: We ask that any who exhibit symptoms of illness practice the biblical principle of quarantine.
