Letter from Dan Preston – April 18, 2025

No Pin

Greetings brethren and happy double Sabbath!  Just a reminder that Charlotte and Hickory will be meeting at the Statesville Civic Center while Columbia will meet in their regular hall.  Service times are 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM

Where did it go?

If you’re like me, you can hardly believe this Feast is almost over.  There are so many more unleavened bread recipes I wanted to try!

Of course, this Feast is about more than just all the tasty snacks and desserts we get to try out.  It’s about both removing sin from our lives, and putting the Unleavened Bread of Jesus Christ in us.

Feast Time

This week, you probably saw in the Home Office update the information on registering for the Feast of Tabernacles.  This year, early registration is only being done at a few select sites - Lihue, HI, Temecula, CA and Walnut Creek, OH.  Only brethren who are geographically close to those sights and have special needs will be able to register early beginning on Sunday, April 20th at noon EDT.  For all other brethren and all other sites, registration begins on Sunday, April 27t at noon EDT.

While the Feast of Tabernacles is a highlight for us each year, we should stop and consider: It is no greater a festival of God than the current Feast we are celebration, Unleavened Bread.

Celebrate!

While it can be easy to look past this current Feast and on to the fall, let’s not forget that we are already ‘in Feast mode.’ Make sure and enjoy the last few hours of Unleavened Bread with the same joy and zeal all God’s festivals deserve.

Have a wonderful remainder to the Feast of Unleavened Bread!
