Come worship God with us each Sabbath (Saturday) afternoon at 2:30 pm in the Greensboro, High Point, and Winston Salem region! Be sure to bring your Bible and follow along as we teach and read from the Scriptures. Occasionally, the time is moved to accommodate other activities. If you are planning to visit please call, text, or email us to confirm the time.
The Greensboro regional congregation of the United Church of God is an assembly of God's people committed to the proclamation of the kingdom of God. This was the message of Jesus Himself and the Church is given the task of carrying on that mission. That message begins with salvation and redemption through Christ, leading to a bodily resurrection in glory at His return, and joy filled life in the kingdom of God.
We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath
The commanded observance of the Biblical Seventh Day Sabbath is part of the new covenant, it is one of the laws of God that are to be written upon our hearts. When we gather together to worship on the seventh day we follow the example of the Church that Jesus founded in the first century A.D. as recorded in the book of Acts.
We also observe the seven annual holy days mentioned throughout the Old and New Testaments in the light of Jesus' life, death, resurrection and Second Coming. These annual Sabbath days reveal the framework of God's incredible plan of salvation for humanity.
What You Can Expect?
Our service is a conservative/traditional format with singing, sermons and prayer. In addition to weekly Sabbath and annual Holy Day services, we have youth Bible classes, men's and women’s clubs, social activities, potluck meals, and more.
P.S. If you are planning to visit us for Sabbath services in Greensboro, be sure to bring your Bible so you can follow along as we read and teach from the scriptures.
