Come worship God with us each Sabbath afternoon (2:30 pm) in the Greensboro, High Point, and Winston Salem region! Be sure to bring your Bible and follow along as we teach and read from the Scriptures. Occasionally, the time is moved to accommodate other activities. Please check our online calendar to double check the time.
The Greensboro regional congregation of the United Church of God is an assembly of God’s people committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the original church of God who you read about in the book of Acts. Our goal is to worship God in spirit and in truth in a positive, joyful environment based solely on the Bible… growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath
While saved by God’s grace alone, we do believe in the commanded observance of the Biblical Seventh Day Sabbath. When we gather together to worship on the seventh day we follow the example of the Church that Jesus founded in the first century A.D. as recorded in the book of Acts.
We also observe the seven annual holy days mentioned throughout the Old and New Testaments in the light of Jesus’ life, death, resurrection and Second Coming. These annual Sabbath days reveal the framework of God’s incredible plan of salvation for humanity.
The United Church of God in Greensboro is a local congregation of a much larger body with congregations across the United States and in more than 40 different countries. Together we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
What You Can Expect?
Our service is a conservative/traditional format with singing, sermons and prayer. In addition to weekly Sabbath and annual Holy Day services, we have youth Bible classes, men’s and women’s clubs, social activities, potluck meals, and more.
P.S. If you are planning to visit us for Sabbath services in Greensboro, be sure to bring your Bible so you can follow along as we read and teach from the scriptures.
