Letter from Dan Preston – September 26, 2025
Greetings brethren and Happy Sabbath!
It’s here, it’s here!
Well, it’s almost here anyway. This will be the last Sabbath evening letter I send out before we head out for the Feast of Tabernacles. And like you, I am so excited and ready to go!
Okay, so ready is an overstatement. I still have to pack, stop the mail, finish my Feast sermon, confirm our reservations……wait……maybe I’m not ready…
So many to choose from
One of the greatest things about the Feast of Tabernacles is all the great memories it creates. Places I would have never been able to visit otherwise, people I’ve met, messages that impacted me. Every Feast contains special memories of some sort.
Some memories occur from time and chance. Like the time I knocked over 37 cordon barriers in the middle of the LAX airport. It frightened my mom, embarrassed my sister and nearly caused my brother to die from laughter. But it’s a great memory the family can smile about today.
Make great memories
The thing a lot of people don’t understand about memories though, is that while some occur randomly, you can choose to make them as well. In tomorrow’s message, we’ll look at a few tips the Bible gives us on how to do exactly that!
