Greetings and welcome to all who are interested to know a little more about our United Church of God congregation in Central Kentucky. We are a small, close-knit friendly and family-oriented group of believers who worship the Almighty Most High God-the Father and His Son, Our Savior, Jesus the Christ.
We are part of the spiritual body of Christ and are committed to creating a positive, dynamic and nurturing environment based solely on the Bible, the only and true Word of God. We believe this allows all members and interested visitors to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our heartfelt desire is to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24John 4:23-24 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
American King James Version×). In keeping with the instructions of God as contained in that Word of truth, we observe the seventh-day Sabbath as well as the seven annual Holy Days that God instituted and which highlight His plan of salvation that He is offering to all of mankind. You may like to reference information on each of these issues by reviewing our booklets: Sunset to Sunset-God’s Sabbath Rest (http://www.ucg.org/bible-study-tools/booklets/sunset-to-sunset-gods-sabbath-rest) and God’s Holy Day Plan-The Promise of Hope for All Mankind (http://www.ucg.org/bible-study-tools/booklets/gods-holy-day-plan-the-promise-of-hope-for-all-mankind).
We would also like you to know that all are welcome to come and share this time of worship with us who are willing to meet in peace and harmony and perhaps to learn what our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ have so graciously made possible for us to know. So, please, come join us.
