God commands us to keep the seventh day holy! Join us in worship each Saturday morning (10:30 am)... Be sure to bring your Bible and follow along as we teach from the scriptures. Several times a year we meet in the afternoon to accommodate special activities. You might want to call, text, or email to confirm the time. Time changes are also found on our event calendar available at the link above.
Get ready to dig into God’s word along with others like you… Find out how to live closer to God and closer to what the original church taught in the Books of Acts… Learn how to worship Him in spirit and in truth… you’ll be amazed at what you learn when you read what His word really says.
Simply pay us a visit or you can use the contact links above to send me a quick email, text, or phone to find out more... I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Why We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath
We believe people are saved by God’s grace alone… and that through our faith in Christ we uphold the law of God as we follow and walk in the Holy Spirit. For that reason we gather together to worship on the Seventh Day Sabbath just like the church founded by Jesus Christ in the beginning.
By that same faith we observe the seven annual holy days revealed all through God’s word... both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Each year we rejoice in His annual Sabbath days... and you're invited to keep these days along with us. When you do, you'll gain important understanding about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection… His second coming… and His plans for all humanity after His return.
Yes, God has an inspiring plan of salvation that you need to learn more about… but you have to take a step forward in faith and act upon what He has already begun to show you. Take that step and join us this coming Sabbath day!
What You Can Expect?
Our sabbath day worship service is a conservative/traditional format with singing, sermons and prayer. In addition to weekly Sabbath and annual Holy Day services, we have youth Bible classes, men's and women’s clubs, social activities, potluck meals, and more.
The United Church of God in Raleigh is a local congregation of a much larger body with congregations across the United States and in more than 40 different countries. Together we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
P.S. If you are planning to visit us for Sabbath services in Raleigh, be sure to bring your Bible so you can follow along as we read and teach from the scriptures.
