Day Hike- Salt Lick Point Land and Water Preserve, Valmeyer, IL  

We are planning to meet for a Day Hike next Sunday, August 3.

At Salt Lick Point Land and Water Preserve in Valmeyer IL

*Meet at the Salt Lick / Johnson Trail loop head @ 10:30 am

 [The Salt Lick Trail starts past the picnic tables and openings to the mines to the right of the parking area]

*Bring a water bottle, a snack, and comfortable walking shoes.

It is a moderate level, 3-mile hike with some incline and great views!
