Volunteers from the United States and Australia will join six young adults from Guatemala to work at the orphanage to make this project a unifying international effort.

Volunteers will be spending time with, showing love to, and building relationships with the children at Eagle's Nest. One of the main goals of the program is for volunteers to help the children improve their English. The ability to speak English gives Guatemalans an improved opportunity to find work and build a career in tourism, business or teaching. Volunteers will work using songs, games and activities to help make learning English fun. Volunteers will also be spending time with the children leading them in fun activities; including music, sports, Bible lessons, outdoor activities, swimming and crafts.

In addition, the volunteers will be spending time helping to refurbish 175 desks for the New Day School that is located at Eagle's Nest Orphanage. This school serves not only those children who live at the orphanage, but also children from the community.

Once the project has started check back regularly for blogs and video updates.
