Summer Camp in Maloca de Moscou, Brazil - 2016

Kathy de Campos, along with her husband Jorge, serves the Louisville and Lexington congregations and they are responsible for God's Work in the Portuguese language.They have been serving the Brazilian brethren since 2010. They have both served in Youth camps in South Africa. Kathy is the Administrative Assistant for Ambassador Bible College.

Jorge and his wife Kathy serve the Dallas (TX) and Lawton (OK) congregations. Jorge was born in Portuguese East Africa, now Mozambique, and also lived and served the Church in South Africa. He is also responsible for God’s Work in the Portuguese language, and has been visiting Portugal, Brazil and Angola at least once a year. Kathy was born in Pennsylvania and also served for a number of years in South Africa. They are the proud parents of five children, with 12 grandchildren and live in Allen, north of Dallas (TX).

Len Martin was ordained in 1999 and is presently the pastor of the United Church of God congregations in London, KY, Knoxville & Kingsport, TN. Len has previously pastored congregations in Worcester, MA, Seabrook, NH, Cambridge, Columbus, Mansfield, and Dayton, OH.

Len holds undergraduate degrees in engineering and information systems as well as an MBA in Finance. Len and his wife have been raised in the Church of God and have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. They are very thankful for the Biblical truths on marriage, family, child-rearing and many other interpersonal relationships.

Kayla is a member of United Church of God in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is a part-time elementary school math teacher, mother of 2, a pianist, and enjoys baking, reading and crafts. 

Michelle Macedo is from Patos de Minas, Brazil. She was born in the church and is currently 22 years old. She is an ABC graduate and a law student, is passionate about different languages and cultures and speaks English and Spanish, as well as Portuguese. Michelle believes that her ability to speak other languages is a gift from God, she is grateful and wants to use it in any way she can to help and serve others. As an only child, she loves meeting new people and having new experiences.

Avery lives in Fort Payne and attends the United Church of God congregation in Gadsden, Alabama. He has an associates degree and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology at Jacksonville State University. With this degree he plans to become a physical education teacher and coach basketball. He has been a substitute teacher, lifeguard, basketball referee and a baseball/softball umpire. Avery has attended and served on staff for ten years at various United Youth Camps. Some of Avery’s interests include playing video games and all sports, working with children, and spending time with friends and family.

Michelle Roig is from Santiago, Chile. She is 22 years old and she is in her last year of University studying Agronomy, she also plans to continue studying to pursue a master’s degree in Agribusiness. She likes to play music and practices rock climbing. She has attended United Church of God her whole life, along with all of her family. She has participated in many youth camps in Chile.

Esteban was born in the United Church of God and belongs to the congregation of Valdivia. He has participated in every Chilean youth camp since he was 13 years old. He studies Civil engineering and enjoys participating in sports like running or swimming. He spends his free time exercising in the gym and playing with his little nephew. In the future he wants to be a good engineer and serve people from different places.
