Captain Sullenberger has the 'right stuff'

1 minute read time

“When I was very young, my father impressed upon me that a commander is responsible for the welfare of everyone in his care. Any commander who got someone hurt because of lack of foresight or poor judgment had committed an unforgivable sin.”

In this week’s edition of Newsweek Captain Chesley Sullenberger III tells how his life has changed in the past month since the day he piloted his disabled jet into the icy waters of the Hudson River. It is worth the read.

Good advice during some hard times from a man who has the “right stuff”.
