Middle East Log 2007-5

1 minute read time

Petra has just recently been voted one of the wonders of the modern world. A visit to this ancient city leaves no doubt of its significance and grandeur. The "rose red city, half as old as time" never fails to mesmerize visitors with awe and wonder. The questions of the type of people who lived here and what they really were still leaves questions in your mind.

I made my second visit here today with our group. My goal was to trek to the high place where sacrifice was made and to visit the ancient temple. Both goals were met. Here is a picture of the entrance and The Treasury.
