South Dakota Abortion Bill

2 minutes read time

59 % of Americans oppose abortion except in cases where the life of the mother is in jeopardy. Many pro-life advocates are not excited about the recently enacted abortion bill passed in South Dakota, feeling it is too radical. This Fox News poll shows most Americans, seven in ten, would not support a bill like the one signed this week in South Dakota. Time will tell whether this bill overturns Roe v. Wade.

The Fox poll reveals that "83 percent of Americans think abortion should be legal if the pregnancy puts the mother's life at risk, and another 62 percent think it should be legal if the mother's mental health is at risk".

Sadly this shows the gap between deep belief in eternal absolute spiritual laws and the narcissitic idolatrous age in which we live. Ambivelance on this issue leads to to a toleration of acts that should be intolerable. Along with other societal ills, this will lead to our national demise. History shows that any civilization that has practiced the many forms of child sacrifice, of which abortion is our modern form, has faded from history. Unless we change, America will be no exception.
