Agnosticism

1 minute read time

There’s no shame in not knowing, unless you decide not to find out!

Thomas Huxley wrote: "Agnosticism simply means that a man shall not say he knows or believes that for which he has no grounds for professing to believe." Too often, though, it can also be used as a cop-out for not studying and proving God’s existence.

Agnosticism has caused many to lose their way. They turn aside from seeking God because they really do not want any interference to doing what they want to do. We all have a choice—hide behind the "see-through" shield of agnosticism, or act with courage and conviction in our lives. Agnosticism is the dry rot of our times. "Don't be an agnostic—be something," said Robert Frost.
