Abraham Lincoln's mother died when he was just 10 years old, but he knew her influence and inspiration had made a dramatic difference in his life. "God bless my mother," he reportedly said, "all that I am or ever hope to be I owe to her."

God compares His own love for us to the love of a mother (Isaiah 66:13) and enshrines honoring mothers in His Ten Commandments. The Bible clearly shows the powerful role our mothers play in our lives. So why not take some time today to find a way to show honor to your mother and other mothers?
