Anything Positive

1 minute read time

"Anything positive is better than negative nothing," wrote Elbert Hubbard.

Life does hand us enough troubles and cares each day. Meeting every day with something positive and some hope gives us a bridge. People who are positive-minded are people you enjoy being with.

The Bible encourages positive thoughts. Paul says to focus on things that are true and noble (Philippians 4:8). Jesus said to seek first the Kingdom and not to fret and worry about tomorrow (Matthew 6:33-34). The hoped for thing may be far away, but the hope in our hearts is near—and that nearness gives us a frame of mind to do things. We think better, we act better and we are better when we are positive-minded.
