Auf Wiedersehen

We all love to visit our friends and have our friends visit us—provided they do not stay too long. Funny how overstaying your welcome can make it hard to say “auf wiedersehen.” Proverbs 25:17 gives us good advice. Don’t come too often and don’t stay too long.

Friendship increases by visiting friends—provided our stay is not too long or too often. We welcome friends who understand this point of civility. Handling ourselves wisely will bring a sincere “auf wiedersehen.”
