Everything Is Wrong - Nothing Is Right

1 minute read time

We sometimes let ourselves get into an attitude of thinking where we see only the negative in our situation.

There are few, if any, times in our lives when everything—truly everything—is wrong. It is our mindset that may need adjusting. What we are in need of is an examination of our foundation—our hopes, dreams and the reality in which we live. Jesus advised us to count the cost to see if our goals are reachable and to see if we are able to complete our plans (Luke 14:28-32).

When we face reality and add a dose of positive thinking, we will not be hindered with negative streams of thought. We will be realistic, but also optimistic. When optimism is built on a solid foundation of facts and guided with a positive outlook, then success is far more likely. Lots of things are right in your life; think on those things (Philippians 4:8). We can become crippled mentally if we let a negative mindset take over.
