Getting Started

Many of the great endeavors on this earth have taken decades and even generations to complete. Buildings and great monuments may take a very long time to finish and, in the interim, may seem to be stuck in a perpetually incomplete state.

One of the Bible's key scriptures explains that we are to grow in grace and knowledge (2 Peter 3:18). This is a process that includes growing in knowledge of God’s Word—the Bible—with its inexhaustible wisdom and help to prepare us for eternity.

For all growth, however large or small, there must be a beginning. Without this essential first step, there can be no progress.
