How to Be Rich

A man once noted, "There are two ways to be rich: make more or spend less."
Wealth is not a sin, and the Bible shows that God has provided the path to wealth for a number of people. God told King Solomon that He would give him riches such that no other kings would have the same (1 Kings 3:13). What pleased God about Solomon was that he did not crave wealth and did not ask for it. God does bless the work of our hands, but He also expects us to value what we have and take care of it. That is called thrift. God delights in those who work hard and are also thrifty (Proverbs 30:24-28).
