It seems we all like to give advice. There are armchair quarterbacks in every seat in the stadium, it seems.
Ever not been told what to do and how to do it better? It seems the world is filled with people who have more knowledge than we do—and we all resist that, don't we?
Advice is like snow, someone wrote. The softer it falls, the longer it stays and the deeper it sinks into the mind. James 1:19 tells us to be slow to speak, swift to listen. When you see advice is needed and you have it to give, give it gently. Let it fall kindly on the ears of your hearers. Gentle snow is welcomed.
