Powerful Ideas

Joseph Stalin once stated, “Ideas are far more powerful than guns; we don’t allow our enemies to have guns, why should we allow them to have ideas?” Mr. Stalin recognized that people with an idea or cause are far more powerful than whatever weaponry they might possess.

The Bible is rich with ideas about the timeless themes of human history: redemption, freedom, hope, deliverance, reconciliation, peace and justice. These ideas, and how they will become reality in the future Kingdom of God, are explained in the weekly and annual Sabbaths that God has set aside as holy time for us.
